Position Objective:
The LATAM Financial Supervisor will oversee financial operations across the LATAM region, including billing, receivables, payables, cash flow, financial processes, and relationships with clients and suppliers. The role will focus on optimizing financial processes, ensuring compliance, and driving operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Billing & Receivables: Supervise billing and manage receivables, ensuring timely processing and maintaining healthy client relationships.
- Accounts Payable: Oversee accounts payable, ensuring on-time payments and maintaining strong supplier relationships.
- Cash Flow Management: Develop and monitor cash flow for LATAM operations, identifying opportunities for optimization in Brazil and Mexico.
- Process Optimization: Implement and optimize financial processes, aiming for efficiency and automation.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to align strategies and improve processes.
- Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, including filing and payment obligations.
- Supplier Contracts: Manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring terms are met and cost optimization is achieved.
- Administrative Procedures: Supervise general administrative functions, including procurement and facility management.
Requirements:
- Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
- +6 years of experience in financial roles.
- +6 years of experience with team leadership.
- Strong knowledge of accounting, cash flow, and payables/receivables management.
- Familiarity with LATAM tax regulations, especially in Mexico.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Proactive, with experience in process improvement.
- Experience with agencies, e-commerce, and startups is a plus.
- Fluency in Spanish and English; Portuguese is a plus.
